Hi all,
This is the second part of my Intellegence research.
I was thinking a day what is the defination of intellegence. I looked all over and was unable to find something precise. I then made a defination of my own i.e. "The ablity of a thing to learn and implement that learning is called intellegence." Now the question arises how to learn. Learning, as per me, is done by two means- eperience and experiment.
Learning through experience is learning from the past events. We have been working for many years in the field of making a computer system, machine, learn from past experiences.
I believe the job now is to make our systems do the experiments. Experimentation is the process of creativity. So sticking to my model of intelligence, I would say that if we are able to make a machine creative i.e. experiment by itself, intellegence would be achieved.
All your ideas and suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Will continue writing my ideas.

"Inteligence is something which is used to do a work by itself in a best possible manner"
Another thimg is..
"Intelligence is an art required to do a task."
Now as per ur saying, it is really true that it can be only through practise and learning.
We can improve the intelligence of a system or person by allowing it to make as many as errors and at every trial just make it learn that how to deal with that...

A thing could only make errors if it experiments on its own....
I request all my readers to kindly forward this link to make the ideas go in the ears of people who are actually working on this idea of strong intelligence...

So how can u say that people around us are not doing experiments and learning from it?
Any intelligence that is learnt or acquired is artificial intelligence. Things that you dont learn from others and still know how to do is natural intelligence.

I don't think there is something like natural intelligence.
ReplyDeleteThe reason is that you don't have any intelligence when you are born but gradually you start building it via "experiments and experiences".
