Hello everyone,
Now I would like to divert your mind to a new idea of, what I call, The three state machine.
This is a bit confusing but I would like to explain it in a format that is clear.
The present working machines, computers, are all two state machines(the states being 0 and 1).
The output of these machines is either yes(1) or no(0).
If I talk about our mind, there are three possible answers to a question 'yes', 'no' or 'may be'.
This 'may be' state is what I introduce in a regular computer to make it intelligent.
Now, the argument that will arise is how is it different from fuzzy logic.
Well fuzzy logic is entirely software based.
I say implement the 'may be' state on hardware level and the computation speed will increase and with the help of this 'May be' state I give computer an option to experiment upon whenever this state is found to be achieved and will continue experimenting on this state until a yes(1) or a no(0) is achieved.
This way we are making the computer experiment by itself and hence making it creative.
So, if we are able to make the computers creative....... we may achieve "Strong Intelligence".
I will continue writing my ideas kindly follow them and yes, all your criticisms are welcome..

Abhishek Singh

Intellegent systems

Hi all,
This is the second part of my Intellegence research.
I was thinking a day what is the defination of intellegence. I looked all over and was unable to find something precise. I then made a defination of my own i.e. "The ablity of a thing to learn and implement that learning is called intellegence." Now the question arises how to learn. Learning, as per me, is done by two means- eperience and experiment.

Learning through experience is learning from the past events. We have been working for many years in the field of making a computer system, machine, learn from past experiences.

I believe the job now is to make our systems do the experiments. Experimentation is the process of creativity. So sticking to my model of intelligence, I would say that if we are able to make a machine creative i.e. experiment by itself, intellegence would be achieved.
All your ideas and suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Will continue writing my ideas.
Regards.
